David Anderson

David Anderson is the President and Co-owner (with his wife Michelle Burge) of JVI.

Davey, as he is known to his friends, was in the trucking industry for over 20 years, doing long and short haul runs. Now Davey divides his time among the JVI offices, in the trucks with the students and keeping abreast of things on the heavy equipment site.

David and his wife Michelle live in Morell.

Wayne MacFarlane

Wayne MacFarlane is a Teacher who doesn’t teach – he facilitates.  Wayne has over 20 years experience in the training business.

Wayne’s infectious personality, sense of humor and passion for life allow him to connect with all levels of personnel.  His “Team Building”& “Leadership” workshops are interactive, and Wayne promises that you’ll be entertained while you learn.  Wayne strongly believes that we learn something new every day, and that lifelong learning is a reality, not a myth.

Wayne and his wife Nancy live in Charlottetown.

Rick Cooke

Rick Cooke has been with JVI since 1997. He teaches Class 2A (School Bus), Class 3A, Class 5 (Driver Education), Driver Testing and Defensive Driving.
Rick spent 28 years in the military as a driver in the transportation trade. Four of those years were at the driver training school in Borden Ontario where Rick worked as a safety supervisor, investigating motor vehicle accidents and teaching defensive driving.
Rick lives in Summerside with his wife Joanne.

Lowell Ferguson

Lowell Ferguson has 12 years experience in the Construction/Heavy Equipment Industry. He began teaching seasonally at JVI in the Spring of 1999 and has been a full-time JVI Heavy Equipment instructor since December 2006.
Lowell enjoys seeing his students progress through their courses and loves to hear how well they are doing afterward. He also enjoys meeting the many people from all around the Maritimes that choose to take their training at JVI.
Lowell graduated with a Canadian Studies Degree from UPEI. He lives in Hampton, Prince Edward Island.

Greg Molony

Greg Molony is one of our Truck and Heavy Equipment instructors at JVI, beginning early in 2008.

Greg started his career in the Transportation Industry in 2000 with Matheson Construction. Since that time he has operated various pieces of heavy equipment and trucks. Greg has traveled throughout the Maritimes and the U.S. hauling Reefer, Dry van, Dump Trailer, Flatbed and floating heavy over-sized equipment.

Greg enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. He lives with his wife Tanya, daughter Payten, dogs Copper and Rosco in Cumberland, Prince Edward Island.

Robert Guth

Robert Guth is a recent addition to JVI’s Professional Driving Instructor team. In 2013, Robert retired after a 38-year career in Corporate Real Estate, with technology & government clients spanning across Canada and the Eastern United States.
45 years of driving experience combined with his passion for teaching, ensure his Class 7 & Class 5 students receive thorough classroom instruction and comprehensive behind-the wheel training.
Robert and his wife reside with their German Shorthaired Pointer at their waterfront home in West Prince..
